New hatch lift support for Datsun Z cars. This hatch strut will fit Datsun 240Z, 260Z and 280Z 1970-78. The hatch lift shock comes with hardware needed to mount in original location. Datsun 240Z had one shock where later 260Z and 280Z had two shocks. This hatch shock will work on either side. This shock is the same length as the original and installs without any hassle or modifications.
Flat mount is more like the original style and ball mount uses ball studs. The ball mount style we find is able to support more weight so if you have a spoiler the ball mount will hold better.
