New/Reman stock replacement starter motor for Datsun 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX and 510 1970-83. Choose from auto (1970-1977) or manual transmission style.
If you are not for sure if the starter is the problem always check you battery cables for good, non corroded connections, especially the ground cable. (stock may differ slightly from picture shown)
*1978-1983 originally used the gear reduction style starter (PT#800-732) which will work with automatic or manual transmissions. The 800-232 starter will fit the 1978-83 auto trans cars, just looks different than the original.
