Harmonic Balancer Damper Crankshaft 240Z 260Z 280Z 280ZX 510

New harmonic balancer for Datsun L series engines 4 and 6 cylinder 1968-83.  Stock replacement performance balancer.  This balancer is a 2 groove design but the outer pulley can be removed for cars running only 1 belt.  Small pulley diameter is 5", large pulley is 7.5". This balancer uses belt width, 3/8" (10mm).  

The diameter of this balancer may vary from the balancer on your engine and may require different belt lengths than what you currently have.

* Balancer will require heating for installation.  A toaster or conventional oven is good.  150-200 degrees for 5 minutes allows it to expand enough to be installed on the crankshaft easier.  

*L series 4-cylinder engines in the 510 can use this balancer but will require changing other components over to 240Z alignment (water pump, pulley. alternator bracket).
